Spring To Life this is what spring represents take the example of daffodils 🌼
What do daffodils mean? What are daffodils? They’re sunshine!
They are such beautiful flowers that come out in the beginning of Spring. In fact, they are the first flowers we see each spring. It is an indicator that winter is over. Because of this, they are seen to represent springtime and also they identify with rebirth and new beginnings.
What does a new beginning look like to us? When I think of New Beginnings I see New Season. Springtime, my favorite time in the whole year, the flowers start blooming again. Weather starts getting warmer but not to warm there is always a very nice breeze. All the vibrant colors start popping out. We see the grass getting so green, trees getting their leaves in full bloom. My lilies start sprouting out petals they are so pretty of a vibrant orange color. I so love all the colors that start to appear throughout my yard.
What does Spring mean? It’s a nod to the flowers and plants springing up, springing open, and bursting in bloom. Spring is associated with the sowing of crops. Spring is the season of New Beginnings, fresh buds blooming, animals awaken, and the earth seems to come alive again. Farmers and gardeners plant their seeds and temperatures slowly rise.
Butterfly’s Life
Why do we have to go through cycles or different seasons?
Let’s take a look at the butterflies 🦋 Life span. Do all caterpillars turn into butterflies?
The answer is no, some caterpillars turned into moths as well. While in the form of a caterpillar, these insects only goals is to eat and grow, gaining the nutrients they need to ultimately become a butterfly. They have no way of reproducing as caterpillars, which is why they must morph into-another species to continue their cycle of life.
Butterfly’s Life Cycle
Stage 1: Egg
The butterfly’s life starts in a small , round or oval egg. Most butterflies lay their many eggs on leaves. The eggs attach to the leaves with an adhesive fluid. A mother butterfly can lay hundreds of eggs at one time, as many will not make it to the final stage of metamorphosis.
Stage 2: Larva
Once the butterfly hatches from the egg it becomes a larva. However, this larva stage is actually when the butterfly is in caterpillar form. The caterpillar spends most of this time eating, including the leaf it was born on. Once the caterpillar eats, it grows about 100 times more than when they first hatched.
Stage 3:
During the third stage, the caterpillar is now ready for the next stage. Once the caterpillar is done eating and growing then a silk cocoon or shiny chrysalis around itself and begin radically transforming into a gorgeous butterfly. This transformation is called complete metamorphosis.. The metamorphosis takes place over a few weeks or months.
Stage 4:
The finished product and final stage end with a butterfly. The newly turned butterfly will break free from its cocoon. It will take sometime to stretch its long legs and antennae and pump hemolymph onto its wings so it can fly.Once that happens. the butterfly will fly off and find a new mate to start the process all over again. Some butterflies only live a few weeks while others can last for months.
Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis This is a Greek word that means transformation or change in shape. A change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.
What does transformation mean for us in our own lives? Are we being transformed from Glory to Glory what does that scripture really say?
So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord who is the Spirit makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT
Our hearts are transforming into Gods image day by day if we are walking in relationship with him. If we are beholding His face unveiled with no shame seeing ourselves through Gods eyes. Unveiled, open and unashamed seeking Him with our whole hearts. Walking in His Word and His promises following and knowing the heart of our Father. Changing from glory to glory just like the caterpillar transforming into a beautiful butterfly, we are changing into more of the image of our Savior as we yield and trust Him in our daily lives.
Bride of Christ
We are becoming His true bride without spot or wrinkle for him to mold us In all of His purity and His righteousness. As we allow Him to change our thought patterns, our attitudes, our motives, and learn to be in our own cocoons. To change us from the inside out molding and making us into what He wants us to be. He is the potter we are the clay. We have to truly yield everything to him total surrender just like the caterpillar. It may not be comfortable at all times but necessary for the purpose He has for us. It is our destiny, calling, soar with wings, to be completely free and made whole. We need to learn how to walk in Holiness, righteousness, to be set apart, and purified. We need to be changed from glory to glory.
Reproduce And Replenish the Earth
We are called to become that adult Butterfly that reproduces all over again. The Word speaks about multiplying and be fruitful. Gen 1:28
And God blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be Fruitful, and Multiply and Replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have Dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over everything living that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:22, 27-28
We are called to be Fruitful, Multiply, and Replenish the earth and Subdue it and that is not all but have Dominion over it!!! I looked up the word subdue it another translation saids putting it under your power.
Do we truly know the place of authority God has given to his children?
Are we truly walking in the destiny God has for us?
Could this be the answer why we go through cycles of life? Season to Seasons here a little there a little still trying to understand our Destiny and learn to walk in it. True dominion and subdue all God has called us too!!!
