Spotless Lamb

Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being, when he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Phil 2:6

Jesus Suffering

I can’t comprehend this revelation Jesus humbled himself and died as a spotless lamb as a servant for me. What unconditional love He has for you and me. I can’t fathom this kind of love, ultimate sacrifice, the Mighty Deity, the God of the Universe came on earth humbled himself in human form as a servant. He was crucified and died a horrific death for us. We see in Isaiah 52:14 the description of how Jesus suffered.

But Many were amazed when they saw Him.. His face was so disfigured He seemed hardly human, and from his appearance, one would scarcely know He was a man. Isaiah52:14

Another passage that came to me about Jesus description of suffering, is in Psalm 22:13-18

My Life is poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax, melting within me. My strength has dried up like sun baked clay. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have laid me in the dust and left me for dead. My enemies surround me like a pack of dogs; an evil gang closes in on me. They have pierced my hands and feet. I can count all my bones. My enemies stare at me and gloat. They divide my garments among themselves and throw dice for my clothing. Psalm 22:13-18

We can’t fathom the horrible excruciating pain and suffering Jesus went through for us. I know I’m not doing justice explaining all of this if I could explain the words with eloquently speech and in deeper detail we could get the beautiful majestic picture of our Savior’s crucifixion.

Why Would God Do It This Way

Why would God do it like that?

He could have started the population of mankind all over again, he could have called the legions of angels to come and destroy them all and then God could have rescued Jesus from all the sufferings.

Do you ever ask the question, Why?

Since the beginning of time God started with a virgin, a young teenage girl, that became impregnated by Holy Spirit. A baby in a stable with stinking animals, the smell of dung, and shepherds from the field, definitely not a sanitary environment. Baby Jesus lying in a manger, came in the most humbling circumstance in human form to save all humanity. This baby who is our King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and God of the universe.

Jehovah God, lying in a manger, was brought as a little boy upon this earth to be our Savior. Growing up just like you and me but was without sin was ordain to be crucified as the Lamb of God. He was a bond servant rejected and mocked by the high priests, the leaders of that day. He had his disciples who were just like you and me, tax collector, fisherman, woman vexed with demons. These were, the kinds of people Jesus were with and took under His ministry. His Destiny and purpose was to be crucified in the most horrible horrendous unimaginable death as an innocent lamb to be slaughtered.

Jesus the Ultimate Sacrifice!!! Why would God do it this way?

Small Beginnings

Small Beginnings

We truly do not have a true understanding or comprehension of Gods thoughts and ways and the love he has for mankind.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD Isaiah 55:8

I think that’s the question!!! Why would God crucify his only son and start with such tenderness of small beginnings? By starting with Jesus being in a manger coming in human form, a baby, to be slaughtered like a lamb, ultimate sacrifice. Who was created to take away our sins, iniquities and our diseases? To give us life eternal not only his crucifixion but we need to remember he arose on the third day. Our everlasting resurrection power no more death. Jesus conquered the grave, hell, and all sins of mankind. We have life everlasting.

A Gift of Life

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Why wouldn’t you receive this gift of Life and this gift of Salvation?

Gift Of Life

What if Jesus wanted to be a gift for his Father? God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one. My dad use to preach about oneness of God using an example of an egg. You have the shell, white, and the yolk all are individual but all are one. That’s a good way to see our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as one. In John 17 we see the prayer of Jesus speaking to His Father.

When we except Jesus in our hearts we become one with Him.

What if Jesus wanted to be our sacrificial Spotless Lamb for his Father?

Pray that they will all be one —as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. I have given them the glory you gave me , so they may be one as we are one. John 17:21-22

It’s the blood of Jesus that we needed to purify us and make us whole. The righteousness of a Savior without sin, had no spot or wrinkle, purity of God to save us from our own corruption and sinful nature. We needed to be washed in his blood 🩸 cleansed from all unrighteousness by a spotless Lamb. Jesus Christ Our Savior!!!
