The Only Thing Stopping Me Is Me

We have 24 hours in a day, what are we going to do with it?
Stay in bed, veg on the couch all day, feel sorry for ourselves, do nothing, or are we going to put our big gurl britches on! Put our best foot forward! Go out to Conquer the day!

How do we do this consistently? I’m glad you asked lol!

Prioritize! Set goals! Make a plan! Without vision my people perish

Where there is no vision the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Prov 29:18

Let’s do this! Who’s with me?

Set up Small Goals to Reach Bigger Goals

Just for you gals to know I am learning to do this right now.

So let’s do it together!!! I think it’s good to make a list

What’s our first steps:

  • Get Up lol! Might seem simple but we need to make ourselves get out of bed, couch, wherever the place is that’s hard to get moving to start our day 😃
  • We need to get a planner, journal, notebook, or something so we can start writing things down and work on getting organized.
  • Plan our day, Morning, Noon, and Night time. We need to emphasize this point a little better. We need to set breakfast time; reading Gods Word, I really like the devotions on you version even if it’s just reading a few scriptures to start the day. So we can learn to put God first in the morning.
  • We need to workout whether it be at the gym, a workout video at home, or walk around in your neighborhood. We should get in a good 30 minutes a day of exercise. Believe me I know how hard it is but I know it always makes me feel better when I set up a routine.
We should set up a schedule for our day. I’m going to try to start doing this myself and everyone is welcome to join me. 😁
  • Stay focused
  • Maybe get A Vision Board
  • Its all about our attitude, help me in this Lord, The joy of the Lord is my strength! Did you hear that. It’s Gods Joy that gives me strength.

Let’s Get Moving

I’ve been working on getting up making my bed, putting my clothes or workout clothes on before leaving the bedroom. It is a work in progress. It’s like, start making small goals and good habits so I can move forward to bigger goals. We got to start somewhere. Also keeping water with me through out the day to drink at least 8 glasses a day and Trying to go to the gym at least 3x a week even if it’s just to walk on the treadmill for 30 min.

I think it’s good to set small goals so we can set up bigger goals gradually. Baby steps is better than doing nothing— One step at a time, here a little there a little, precept upon precept. Let’s start moving forward. STEPPING OUT OF THE BOX REACH FOR TOMORROW!!!

Eagles Eye View

We should be more like the Bald Eagle. Let’s take a look at an eagle’s characteristics Learn how to soar like the eagle!!!

  • EAGLES HAVE VISION: Eagles have a keen vision. Their eyes are specially designed for long distance focus and clarity. They can spot another eagle soaring from 50 miles away. Vision is a successful leadership characteristic. A big focused vision will produce big results.
  • EAGLES ARE FEARLESS: An eagle will never surrender to the size or strength of its prey. It will always give a fight to win its prey or regain its territory. They face problems head on.
  • EAGLES ARE TENACIOUS: Watch an eagle when a storm comes. When other birds fly away from the storm with fear, an eagle spreads its mighty wings and uses the current to soar to greater heights. The eagle take advantage of the very storm that lesser birds fear and head for cover. Soar over the storm and face their challenges.
  • EAGLES ARE HIGH FLYERS: Eagles can fly up to an altitude of 10,000 feet, but they are able to swiftly land on the ground at 10,000 feet. An eagle doesn’t mingle around with the pigeons. It was Dr. Myles Monroe who said that. Pigeons scavenge on the ground and grumble and complain all day long. Eagles do not.
  • EAGLES POSSES VITALITY: Eagles are full of life and are visionary. What happens is that when the eagles reach the age of 30, their physical body condition deteriorates fast making it difficult for them to survive. What’s interesting is that the eagle never gives up living, instead it retreats to a mountaintop and over a five months period goes through a metamorphosis. It knocks off its own beak by banging it against a rock, plucks out its feathers. Each stage produces a re- growth of the removed body parts, allowing the eagle to live longer.
  • EAGLES NURTURE THEIR YOUNG: Research has shown that no member of the bird family is most gentle and attentive to its young ones than the eagles. This is how it happens. When the mother eagle see’s that time has come for it to teach the eaglets to fly, she gathers an eaglet onto her back, and spreading her wings, flies high. Suddenly she swoops out from under the eagles and allows it to fall. As it falls, they gradually learn to fly. If the young is slow to learn she returns the baby eaglet to its nest starts to tear the nest apart until there is nothing left for the eaglet to cling to. Then she nudges him off the cliff.
