FORWARD IS A DIRECTION BUT WHAT KIND OF DIRECTION?

Forward is moving straight ahead not behind or side by side but ahead of you Stepping into your Future!!! Stepping into your Tomorrow!!! How Do We Do That?

Let’s see what the scripture has to say let us look at Luke 13:12

When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, Woman you are free from your infirmity NIV

What If she wouldn’t have moved taken the action to move toward Him?

Would She have received her healing and deliverance? Sometimes we have to put action into our Faith. We need to move forward take that first step!

But Don’t just listen to Gods Word you must do what it says, otherwise you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. James 1:22-24

We need to be a doer of Gods Word!

Purpose ; Write it Down

We are going to start by making a plan it’s great if you have a planner to help you daily I so recommend prayerful planner it’s a great place to start to prioritize your daily planning for your life. Let’s take a few steps:

Planning Worksheet: If you would like let’s start by Making a Purpose Worksheet starting with Strengths /Experiences / Gifts /Lessons think of these attributes of yourself you can just use a notebook or journal or planner but it helps to write down your plans and purpose. Whatever God reveals to you to write down for your own life and purpose.

Goals: Spiritual, Relationships, Family, home, health, financial, work, hobbies and Big dreams. You can make yourself a Vision board if you are more visual so you can see it daily to remind you of your goals and purpose.

Schedule: daily this could be a to do list, Scriptures, post it’s, priority, etc. For me, it helps to write things down and see what my daily tasks are for the day.

Gratitude: How important to daily give Thanksgiving in our daily walk. We need to have a heart of gratitude listen to this scripture about Thanksgiving

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7

Listen to that scripture again Thanksgiving brings Peace Of God there is something about us having a grateful heart!

What is Purpose? Purpose is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. Your life purpose consists of the central motivating aims of your life. The reasons you get up in the morning. Purpose can guide life decisions, shape goals,influence behavior, offer a sense of direction, and create meaning. we all need purpose in our lives. Purpose is key to life.

Expected End

Let’s take this a step further. What is Destiny? Destiny is that which has been firmly established.

Destiny is what you are ordained to be (Expected End)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an Expected End Jeremiah 29:11

As we partner with Jesus the way he partnered with his father we’re are stepping into Destiny! Holy Spirit is key to your calling and Destiny. We need to be operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We need to fall in love with Jesus! How do we fall in love with our Savior?

Spend time with Him, get in his Word, prayer life daily, it’s all about relationship.

Life with Christ is Sweet!!!

His Blood cleansed us and made us pure, now it’s up to us to embrace our Identity and live in power.

His suffering on the cross bore our sorrows, he was pierced for our rebellion crushed for our sins, He was beaten so we could be whole He was whipped so we could be healed Isaiah 53:5 NLT

As we can see we need to (act) again we must put action to our Faith. We need to Partner with Jesus. We need to embrace our Identity.

Truly, Who We Are

What is Identity? Who are We?

Identity is the way you think about yourself; who a person is, or the qualities of a person or group that make them different from others and the characteristics that defines you. Is my identity in what I do? Is my identity what I have? What position I hold, job, titles wife, son, daughter, mother etc… I think we need to see our identity through Jesus Christ.

The Bible tells us that our identity in Christ is part of accepting His gift of Eternal life through Faith. Jesus gave his life on earth and rose from the grave to conquer death. When we become followers and believers in Jesus, we lose our identity of this world and embrace our identity in Christ. How are we to be different? Let’s go to Gods Word:

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well Psalm 139:14

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. Ephesians 1:11

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. Ephesians 1:4-5

But ye are a chosen generation , a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1Peter 2:9

We are made in the image of God, royal priesthood, predestine and adopted as his children, We are fearfully and wonderfully made, we have an inheritance, we seat in heavenly places with our Father. Do we truly know who we are in Christ Jesus?
