Well since it’s the new year some of my gifts for Christmas was getting a nice computer desk and to fix up a Connie’s corner for my blog and journaling. So, Santa got me a really nice desk for Christmas and some really neat Bible journals to start off with. He ended up getting me three lol he was going by my wish list off of amazon and got them all. I absolutely love my Bible journal it’s called Inspire it has pictures and pages for you to color and draw. It is a great start for me to begin on my new journey of journaling. My goal is to get more organized and creative in my everyday life. I also got a prayerful planner if interested in this item go to www.prayerfulplanner.com I just absolutely love this planner. It is really helping me to get on the right track for this New Year.

Strength

Well in this planner it asked for me to think of one word for the year. So, I started praying and asking God what are you saying to me in 2022?

I ended up having a word for someone else on my Face book group of prayer planner community. I immediately heard Strength for this person I began speaking the scripture the Joy of the Lord is your strength…

Within a few minutes I was getting confirmation about that word. I heard strength again being said through a broadcast we were watching and a few minutes later another preaching broadcast came on and spoke about strength again. I was saying ok this word might be for me too. I started praying about this word for myself as well.

I knew in 2021 God gave me the word Wait so I’ve been meditating and learning how to wait. I thought well the scripture God keeps dealing with me on is waiting on the Lord and he will Renew my Strength. I thought what if that is still my scripture for coming into 2022? I was like okay I’ve been learning to wait and now I’m learning to Renew my strength.

Different Strengths

So, of course, I am going to search this word out about strength and what God is trying to speak to me for the new year. I started thinking of different scriptures about strength I started with Nehemiah 8:10

And Nehemiah continued, Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

Strength in Hebrew pronunciation ma-oz/ ma-uz place or means of safety, protection, refuge, stronghold, a fortified place, rock, fortress

Another scripture I heard on a preaching service with https://www.jdm.org/ Jesse Duplantis was about strength he was speaking on Habakkuk 3:19.

The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He makes me as sure footed as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. Habakkuk 3:19

Strength in Hebrew pronunciation chayil might, wealth, army, force, valor, host, valiant, strong

A scripture I live by is:

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength Phil 4:13

strength in Greek pronunciation endunamoo to be strong, endue with strength, be bold empower- enable, headstrong

The scripture I refer to earlier which has been the one I keep meditating on is Isaiah 40:31

But those who trust in the Lord will find NEW STRENGTH. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary They will walk, and not faint NLT also other version say (wait) and (hope) Is 40:31

I think it is interesting different words are used in this scripture in different versions some say wait on the Lord, KJV Hope in the Lord, NIV trust in the Lord NLT.

Strength in Hebrew pronunciation ko-ach power, might, human strength, strength (of angels) power (of God) strength (of animals) strength produce wealth (of soil) small reptile ( prob kind of lizard) to be firm or vigor, chameleon

I was flabbergasted 😮 when I seen there were a whole lot of definitions for Strength! I really feel we need to dig deeper into the last verse so let’s do it! When I seen the definition of strength representing a reptile like a lizard I thought this was weird so let’s look into this.

Strength of Chameleons

Well as I was searching I found out that some lizards have superhuman strength, enabling them to lift (press) approximately the equivalent of 12 tons. Lizards are the most successful reptiles, with almost 6000 species around the world. Many lizards live on the ground but some live in trees and others are burrowers. Like all reptiles are cold blooded animals.

Chameleons was a word in the Hebrew definition for strength so this word is a type of lizard. They are known for their ability to change colors. Among the most fascinating and unnerving animals on earth, chameleons are endowed with so many unique adaptations—Independently rotating eyes, shooting tongues, prehensile tails, and the ability to change their colors. They called chameleons (ground lions) In fact, they might be the worlds most talented reptiles. Chameleons can shoot out their tongue at alarming speeds. Their tongues are so powerful and rapid. It’s tongue can fire off at 8500 feet per second. Their tongue is sticky the tip adheres to the victim body; and strong retractor muscles pull the tongue and prey back into the mouth. They use their tails as extra limbs and even see in two different directions at once, Impressive Right. Their eyes can swivel around in two different directions simultaneously. After a chameleon gets both eyes locked onto its prey, a high speed weapon is deployed and reeled back in less than a second.

New Strength

As we see, lizards have a lot to do with strength. What does all this mean for us? I heard the Lord say not just strength but NEW STRENGTH!!!

What does New Strength mean?

I looked up Renew in Hebrew pronunciation chalaph to pass on or away, pass through, pass by, go through, grow up, change, to go on from, to come on anew, sprout again (of grass) and to show newness (of tree) to go on forward!

That’s it!!!! Everything I’m writing about, and I am living out in my life in this season it’s all about moving forward!!!! Everything comes back to stepping out the box * Reach for Tomorrow!!!!
So, my Word this year is “NEW STRENGTH”

Let’s Move Forward this year!!! Begin Anew!!! Change and Grow Up!!! Be Bold!!! Dare to be Different!!! Step Out Of The Box!!! Reach For Tomorrow!!!

NEW
STRENGTH!!!
