Never To Late To Find Hope

It is never to late to find Hope! What is Hope? How do we pursue Hope?

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk, and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 NIV version

But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. Isaiah 41:31 AMP version

So how do we renew our strength and not grow tired? It is those who hope in the Lord, also the other word used in a different version, is wait for the Lord. The word hope and wait refer to look for, expect, [look eagerly for] to lie in wait for, linger for, the root word I found is to bind together (perhaps by twisting,)

Faith is the Substance Of Things Hoped For

Another scripture that comes to me is

Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb 11:1 KJV

Faith is already hoped for. Hoped is referring to past tense in this scripture.

Hope in the dictionary said a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. Jeff, my hubby is hoping to get a scooter for Christmas lol. He is such a kid at heart. Just think what if we didn’t have hope, what would that look like?

Hoped deferred

The proverbs says it like this:

Hope deferred maketh the heart sick but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12 KJV version.

In another version it quotes Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life. NLT

Well, what does Deferred mean in this passage we find words like to delay, scatter, stretch out, to remove, and to prolong, so not seeing your dreams fulfilled can make the heart sick. We need to have hope in our life, hope into our tomorrow, hope in our aspirations, we need to always have hope in our hearts. Especially hope in God. God wants us to have hope. Hope does matter, hope is the beginning of Faith!!!

Hopes and Dreams fulfilled

So, we see when desires and dreams are fulfilled, it is a tree of life.

I remember when we bought our home, it was like a dream come true. I searched and searched for a home for us and prayed a lot. When we found the one, it so fulfilled my hopes and dreams. I was so humbled and grateful God would give us such a beautiful home and land. It does really feel good to hope and dream to see the fulfillment come to life.

Tree Of Life

Let’s look a little more what tree of life means, life in this content refers to living, alive, green (of vegetation) flowing, fresh (of water) lively, active, reviving as of springtime, revival, and renewal. How renewed you feel when your hopes and desires come true you really do feel alive. Tree of life refers in scripture (eternal life), but those who remain in disobedience will be denied. The tree of life provides continuous, everlasting life to all who partake of it, for it signifies the eternal life of God made available to redeemed humanity.

Extravagant Gift

I have a memory when my husband bought me such an extravagant gift , it was my first exquisite piano, I was so thrilled and humbled to know God blessed me with such a wonderful gift. I was in my living room playing looking out the window so ecstatic of my new piano and our beautiful yard and my very first home. I started weeping thanking God for all these wonderful desires and hopes I had dream about were coming true. I was so honored and grateful to be so blessed.

Hope Again

I’m sure there are times you can think back of how God bless you and how grateful you were for your dreams that came true. We forget how grateful we should be in our daily lives, for how much God has done in our lives and continually is doing. God is so good to us, it is so easy to take that for granted to take him for granted.

We can always hope and fulfill our tree of life. If you are having a hard time hoping again I’m here to encourage you to try hoping again try dreaming again. If it’s the first time or if you are trying again through all the disappointments and hardships never give up on your dreams. The time is now.

The Ultimate gift of Hope

A baby in a manger is the beginning of where Hope started. Jesus, came in human- form as the Savior of the World as a baby in a manger to give us eternal life. During this Christmas season I pray we remember the true meaning of Christmas and celebrate the Ultimate gift of hope, It started with a baby in swaddling clothes in a manger with Mary and Joseph and our precious gift of Jesus. The Ultimate gift!!!

We can always hope. Oh God teach us to be grateful have a heart of thanksgiving. Oh, that we would dream again. It’s never to late to find Hope. Ultimate gift of hope is Jesus. The gift of eternal life… My friend, I’m here to share and encourage you to hope again. It saids in scripture have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. A mustard seed is the tiniest seed of all, yet when full grown, it is the largest of plants. It’s time to step out in Faith and Dream again.
